Implementation
No need for specialised hardware
The BPREPARED Casualty Management Software and Mass Evacuation Software are designed for easy implementation and usage. There’s no need for special devices and technology, minimising the cost and the need for training. Just use your own standard mobile phones, tablets and web browsers.
Simple and intuitive
Our software is designed to be simple and intuitive, even for infrequent users operating under stressful conditions. Experience shows that staff are eager to use tools that provide real support in critical situations, making this software an invaluable asset for emergency response teams.
Proven effectiveness
The successful national implementation of this software in Belgium serves as a powerful example, with over 9.000 users across all services adopting it as the national solution. Since its launch in 2022, the software has been successfully deployed for over 100 times, demonstrating its effectiveness in real-world situations.
Developed with real-world insights & testing
BPREPARED was developed with insights gained from the Brussels airport and metro attacks in 2016, reflecting the lessons learned from that mass casualty and multi incident event.
Continuous testing & improving
Thorough testing allows us to identify and address potential issues, before they become an issue in a real life critical event. That’s our commitment to ensuring a reliable performance of the software during high-pressure situation. Realistic simulations help evaluate the software’s usability, scalability and responsiveness, making sure it can adapt to different types of emergencies. Read more about our test case scenarios here.
Steps for a successful implementation
Implementing a national system requires a structured approach. With our expertise and comprehensive training materials, we recommend the following best practices:
include experts in education, logistics, operations, testing and project management.
engage medical urgent care, psychosocial care, hospitals, the Red Cross and other external partners.
train trainers: they will become your ambassadors. Gather feedback, adapt training materials and activate the software training environment.
start with desktop exercises, then transition to field exercises. Make sure registration tasks do not interfere with emergency tasks.
designated registrars at hospitals, cities et cetera manage user registration and maintenance.
and use the software for smaller incidents to cultivate familiarity.
allocate a year for a full rollout, activating the e-learning environment for ongoing training.
